Our Custom Hydraulic Cylinder solutions are found on many leading OEM manufacturers of Tele-handlers, Skip-lifts, Forklifts, Airport Lifting platforms and Tail lifts. The range of solutions we offer has continued to grow in order to meet Customer demands and is supported by our dedicated in-house test facility allowing us to simulate loading and environment conditions as required.

The robust and challenging environment of the waste and recycling sector is very familiar to our design and development team. Working with leading manufacturers of refuse trucks, compacting equipment, grabs and demolition equipment for more than 20 years we have driven the development of modern Hydraulic Cylinder solutions e.g. Hydraulic Cylinder with inbuilt automatic switching capability and Position Sensing Hydraulic Cylinders.

Our World Class welding processes which are certified to the EN3834-2 standard make us the ideal partner to supply Hydraulic Cylinders for safety critical applications. Working closely with our Customers in this sector for more than 20 years we have successfully developed special Hydraulic Cylinder solutions meeting the challenges of smooth movement, integrated hydraulic valves and the highest standards of reliability.

For more than 30 years Burnside Autocyl has supplied leading OEMs in the construction sector including cylinders for wheeled loaders and mini-excavators among the many custom designs developed. We fully understand the special characteristics needed to overcome the demanding requirements of pressure, shock, vibration and contamination experienced by Hydraulic Cylinders in this unique application and we have developed our range of cylinders to meet these challenges.

We have developed a hydraulic rotary swivel unit and currently developing a hydraulic rack and pinion steering unit.
